Our team

All of our teachers are professional dancers and performers who have a passion for dance, and for teaching others to dance. In addition to being highly accomplished in their fields, they are also energetic, positive and caring people. They have enhanced DBS certification and First Aid training and are trained in RAD and ALLIED.


 Miss Zoe Findlay

Principle -

Ballet, Modern and Musical Theatre Teacher

Zoe has been dancing since she could walk and has been at King's since she was just a few weeks old. 


She has trained in RAD and has her teacher qualifications in ALLIED.


She is the 3rd generation of  dance teacher at King's. 


Zoe has choreographed many shows at Southport Little Theatre and has been NODA Award nominated for best choreographer 5 times.


Zoe continues to choreograph in Southport and loves getting students involved in her shows. 


She also teaches adults with disabilities at The Learning Rooms in Southport and strives to promote dancing for all abilities. 


Zoe's credits include dancing on ITV's Mrs Biggs , part of the Party Mob dance troupe and many jobs as an extra on TV including Coronation Street and Hollie Oaks.

Our Founders

 Mrs June Evans was our Founder and started King's School Of Dance in 1966

She performed with the Ballet Rambert, the Bolshoi Ballet and the Scottish Ballet.

She learnt many famous dances including

Swan Lake. 

When she retired from professional dancing she started choreographing and performing in Southport and supported amature theatre. 

She helped may students go on to achieve their dreams and has left a legacy that continues to grow. 



 Mrs Mandy Guiver is the 2nd generation dance teacher. 

She has choreographed many shows in Southport and has been NODA Award nominated.

She has also played many lead roles in shows in and around Southport.

She has had many jobs on TV as an actress. She has had roles on Brookside, Coronation street, Adverts and Dramas.
